                    Dr. Mirza Ali Khan, Director General (Research), Livestock & Dairy Development Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar along with Dr. Pervez Shah, Project Director, Livestock Research & Development Station, Swabi visited the ongoing project “Establishment of Livestock Research & Development Station at Swabi” on dated 05/03/2018. During the visit Director General (Research) Livestock & Dairy Development showed satisfaction from the progress of the station. In this new establishing Station, animal disease diagnostic facilities will be available to the general public of District Swabi and nearby area. In the station special research on animal production and management will be conducted for the improvement of livestock breeds and enhancement of productivity. The Director General issued directions to contractor regarding the quality of construction work and early completion of civil work.

                        Director General expressed in his views that similar stations and Research & disease diagnostic centers are available at different districts to conduct research and extend services to farmers community on various aspects of animal health & production on modern scientific lines. These research and Diagnostic facilities needs to be extended to District level. The research services may be strengthened enhanced capacity of the researchers and their facilitation.
